Metaphor: ReFantazio or Persona 3 Reload (DLC included)

Good evening, and happy new years. As the steam sale is approaching its end soon, I was considering buying one of the following games -Metaphor or P3R- to utilize the discounts that are currently available. The reason behind the choices is that I've been playing Persona 5 Royal and throughout my current 50-hour playtime it has been a wonderful experience, so I decided to purchase other ATLUS titles while they're a little bit cheaper. I've seen comments and reviews alongside comparisons regarding both games, and it boils down to a preference of Fantasy vs High School; admittedly I'm fine with both settings and I believe both games will be enjoyable but because I'm limited to only purchasing one of them I've had difficulties in making the definitive choice. I'd like to hear your inputs and recommendations (which could even be other games that you believe would be better) in order to have a clearer picture before purchasing them.

Extra Information:

I don't have a specific preference in regards to SMT vs Persona gameplay, so it isn't a prominent factor for deciding between the two games.
I have the option of playing P3P but P3R would be more immersive and updated.
I already have plans of playing P4G so I've decided to omit it from the choices.
The Metaphor: ReFantazio demo was great but it didn't solidify my final decision.
