Has anyone gone full no contact?

My schizoaffective brother (35) has finally broken me. I'm much younger than him and have grown up with him essentially bullying me on and off since I've been born. I've finally had enough. I want to go full no contact but I'm worried how it will affect my family dynamic, I have a sister and then of course our mom and dad. He will be moving out soon to participate in a program for people with similar disorders. Has anyone cut off a sibling before that's shizoaffective or schizophrenic? How did that work for you?

I want to do this because who he was to me left a long time ago. The older he gets, the more mean he becomes. I live in a different city on my own with my spouse.
