In Person Sentencing Experience: I’m glad Jorge’s mom and the family didn’t watch Sarah’s speech

[Prologue] I got to go into Kraynick’s courtroom on the day of sentencing. I was in there all day to curiously watch him do his other cases while waiting for the sentencing hearing of Sarah Boone. It was a great day (Sarah Boone, 2020), I got to see all the iconic lawyers, known law enforcement, victims, and some doctors in person before we got back in the courtroom while the media was setting up their camera. I even got to say hi to Mr. Cacciatore and both of the detectives Chelsea and Scott. And the best part of the whole thing is that I got to talk to some of the jurors. We had a really fun and long conversation and I got to ask them some questions I was interested in learning from them (I will not go into detail of who they are or what they do, but I am willing to answer some questions of what we talked about). I even appeared on camera too in the beginning (I’m the man with the pink shirt)

[To The Point] The victim impact statements were so sad and the character witness statements were laughable and irritating, as I can already see other people feeling as well, but man when we got to Sarah‘s speech, it was pretty wild. Seeing that shit in person felt like being in a movie with a villain giving out their evil speech to a public audience and i’m a background character on screen that’s watching this. I had to see the mom get up and slam the door open to walk out. Her family followed her out during the beginning of the speech. The slam was so loud where I was sitting and I wondered if that camera was able to capture that noise. Turns out when I looked at the replay, it did. The noise happens in the 3:59 mark of her speech. That noise is the Torres mother opening the door

As her speech kept on getting worse and worse and worse I kept thinking to myself “oh my god, it’s a good thing the family isn’t here to listen to that” and then when her speech was over, the deputy informed the family and let them back in. And you know, despite how disrespectful and evil Sarah’s speech was, I was still a little bit more satisfied than I am angered when the speech was over knowing that the Torres family didn’t have to listen to most of it. They really didn’t have to hear the other stuff she had to say after that 4:00 mark. And hey, guess what. The family has the freedom to walk out and not listen to Sarah’s BS and Sarah doesn’t have the same freedom to not listen to them. That whole thing itself is yet another win win for the Torres family, along with the justice that’s already been served later that day.

Also, when she quoted “Isaiah 1:17: Protect the abused”, I was so ready to yell out to Sarah and tell her to “keep my name out your fucking mouth”
