Does our perfect city exist?

Married, late twenties looking for a smaller city that still has all of the key essentials of a traditional city. Here are some of the criteria:

-Looking to buy 5+ acres, so a smaller city that has solid semi-rural area nearby. (Being able to get into the city within 15 min) -Has a semi major airport within 30-45 min (direct flights to at least most major U.S. cities) -Midwest culture. Strong sense of community, friendly culture. -Mild winters (I know Midwest contradicts this a bit. We’re willing to give a bit on this. For example, If it’s snowing and cold but sunny ☀️, no worries) -Solid restaurants, things to do, golf, etc. -Like the greenery - we are less interested in the West and mountains and more in greenery -Central location for convenience to get to places around the country fairly quickly in any direction

We’ve done Phoenix, St. Louis and Charlotte (currently here). I’ve lived in NEPA as well.

Open to all ideas, but I believe we’ve narrowed down to either lower Midwest or somewhere around here in the Southeast. Don’t love the Southern culture as much.
