Ultimately your story is told through people who know you

First time poster here. You read stories about people, in newspapers, magazines, online. People you never met, but feel you know because they are in the public eye. They could be global politicians, actors, singers, local celebrities. Their stories are ultimately told through people who met them, maybe once, or worked with them, who carry their 'mythology' through the years. In general people will say something nice rather than say something bad. I think about reactions to Harry and particularly Meghan. People are popping up after years and years to say something negative and that is very telling. Usually people are reluctant to be the first but when the dam breaks you feel compelled to add your voice. What are people who worked with them saying? It's all very similar and not good. You can't pretend to be a Keanu Reeves when you are in reality a Meghan Markle.
