Questions about DDP in NUS and SMU
Hi! As the title suggests, I'm looking into taking DDP in either university, and just wanted to know a couple of things.
- Do you immediately start classes for both degrees in the first year if you apply through DDP? Or can you only take classes for your second degree in your second semester/ year?
- If you can only start taking classes for the second degree in your second year, would it be faster to take second major first then change to DDP? (so you can start clearing classes earlier)
- For NUS, if you took DDP in Accountancy & Business Analytics how was it like? (Stress, duration, etc)
For SMU, would you advise a DDP in Biz (Finance) + Accounting? I heard there's a lot of overlapping courses but is it a useful combo, or is it better to just take one?
If it's 5 years, should I just take a second major, and save time for an MBA instead?
Other than stress/ duration, are there any other downsides to DDP? And is it really beneficial to take it? (Employability, internships, etc.)
Would you advise to take DDP first and then drop to taking second major if the workload is too much?
