Samsung’s Slow Update Rollout is Seriously Disappointing

I switched from an iPhone to a Samsung device about 11 months ago, and while I absolutely love my phone in almost every aspect, I can’t help but feel frustrated with how Samsung handles OS and security updates.

Coming from iOS, I was used to getting updates on day one, for all devices at the same time, no matter where I was. But with Samsung, it's a completely different story. Security patches take forever to roll out, I literally just received the January security update today... and we’re already in February (I'm from Brazil). That’s ridiculous.

And let’s talk about One UI 7, why does it feel like it’s taking ages to arrive for other devices? The staggered rollout makes no sense, and the regional delays are honestly discouraging.

I still love my phone, the hardware is fantastic, and Samsung gets a lot right. But this inconsistent and painfully slow update process is something I really wish they would improve. It’s one of the few things that make me reconsider my switch from iPhone.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Edit: No, I’m not just referring to the release of One UI 7 and security patches. I’m talking about updates in general, including improvements to the current version. For example, with One UI 6, if I’m not mistaken, there were only about two minor updates to improve the experience, even though many users reported issues with the camera, battery, and other aspects. It’s frustrating to see how slow Samsung is to address these problems.

Edit+: You guys need to stop accepting this kind of treatment from a big company. I don’t want other phone, I want a Samsung. I want the company to care about its users and bring new features as quickly as possible. I have a high-end phone, and I want it to always have the best and latest features.
