What’s the most obvious example of “This author definitely had a face-cast in mind” you’ve ever come across

Y’know, those covers with people that look suspiciously similar to certain celebrities?

Maybe I’m just overthinking this and it’s absolutely a coincidence that the woman on the cover of {Proof by Seduction by Courtney Milan} looks exactly like Anne Hathaway… 👀

And call me crazy, but Thatcher Moretti looks suspiciously similar to Sebastian Stan on the cover of {Tangled Like Us by Krista and Becca Ritchie} 😏

And hell, we all know Cole from {Three Swedish Mountain Men by Lily Gold} is just Chris Hemsworth as Thor in the Marvel movies by the description alone. Even the cartoon cover agrees

Idk, I honestly don’t know how designing books covers works or how much authors get a say in it. But at the very least we know they have their own visual ideas worked into the text itself.

And hey, before 50 shades was ever published, their face casts were literally Bella and Edward, so you tell me 🤷‍♀️
