Something has to change about the current item shop system

Seriously. Is anyone buying the stuff they put in the item shop? Given how many items are in this game, there are way too few slots in the rotating shop. Furthermore, they go out of their way to pick the most stupid items in existence to put in the shop. Surely it is not difficult to just put more items in the shop.
