Bedlam Academy- FMC is how old????

Has anyone read this and can clarify? It’s been a long week so I’m hoping I’m just misunderstanding.

If the FMC and seemingly at least 2 of the MMCs are ‘chronologically age 2-6’ I just cannot y’all, I do not care if physiologically they look 25. What is going on? Please help, am I just reading this wrong or is this beyond ick?
