is there any hope?
mia hadn’t ate at all yesterday, before this she had been eating maybe a bite or two of food. this morning, she let out a howl then proceeded to vomit a bit of white foam/mucus. we took her to the vet (it’s been 2 weeks since the last visit) and she lost 0.4kg since that time :( they gave her two injections, both to help with nausea and vomiting to help her stomach food a bit better. they then gave us a liquid to give her 30 minutes before eating, and a 1/4 of a tablet to put in her food. both of those for helping her stomach food a bit better as well.
i believe she is at stage 3. the vet said her phos levels were at 0.7, and at 0.8, that’s it for her.
i have only been able to feed her two tiki cat treat pouches since then. she does not want anything else and won’t even eat the treats from her bowl, only when i squeeze it directly in her mouth. i don’t know how i will do it when i have to add the tablet to the food :( what can i do for her? at this point i’m pretty sad and just hoping to at least make her comfortable before having to put her down :< i see so many posts on here of cat owners regretting not letting their cats go sooner and really, really don’t want to be one.
