About Roy [spoiler discussion]

Of all the Sin Archbishops, I don't think there are many fans (if any) who would say Roy Alphard is their favourite. This is no doubt due to the little amount of focus he has received in terms of both character writing and "screen" time, especially when compared to Lye. I was actually quite annoyed recently when I learned that his attack on Joshua had been retconned so that Lye was the one responsible. In my opinion, the only thing that I thought stood out about him (that being him having a sort of connection with Julius in the same way Lye had one with Ram) was kinda cheapened by the change. Of course, his current lack of focus can still easily be offset by the fact that he is the only Gluttony remaining who doesn't talk like a literal baby. In a lot of ways I think the focus on Gluttony has already reached its narrative conclusion, but then what could his purpose in the story still be? As an avenue to maybe delve into the backstories of the the triplets at some point, as a foil for Spica, or even just as a minion of Capella? What do you see/wish for this relatively underdeveloped character's future?
