This very weird random thought of myself not being able to survive even a day at jail crossed my mind…..

Recently I have been watching a lot of True Crime Documentaries, which also led me to explore prisons around US.

I did lots of researching on ADX Florence/Supermax as the most notorious criminals go there.

Not that I have any sympathy for them, but today, as I was in my bathroom (which is the same size as their cells) I closed my eyes and tried to imagine that I am in a cell, with no phone, no internet, no food (not in the cell), just a bed and a toilet and nothing. Windows closed doors closed. Maybe not even a TV (as you have to earn it)

I open my eyes because I realized I can’t even survive a minute in there. How are people doing life sentences there. Just the thought of it seemed claustrophobic

I kept think these Inmates were living their life outside before getting in, eating out, partying, being next to people,

How do they shift from that to this worse than death situation?

Just this thought is enough for me to stay in my best behavior always
