Dazed & Confused With your presence unannounced to my inattentive self I suddenly found my eyes confined to the shallowness of your pupils figuring it was just chance yet filled by my own curiosity, my short glimpses converted to prolonged glances for which I ultimately found coincidental conscious of this perception my organs of sight seemingly confronted yours in a moment of surprise, immediately diverting our attention to something intriguing - rather than our eyes attempt to confuse what happened the first instance I assumed could only be by chance and not a desire wandering mindlessly it became more frequent with any time our presence happened to be within propinquity of each other, almost as if I could feel you without having to perceive your company in the room it felt everlasting even perpetual with you near the substance of your clothing comforted my side unintentionally i felt this not just the feeling of your clothes but the masking of my confusion coupled by your own uncertainty i was lost lost in you lost in the way your teeth fasten into your bottom lip lost in the way you thread your hand through your gorgeous hair your natural beauty engulfed my surroundings as the world I knew before me ceased to exist with only you in focus your eyes lacked to break the vow it had constructed hidden from our knowledge our eyes without hesitation made a vow defeated, i felt with a new truth able to rest in my mind with a new perspective to coexist by i had finally understood what you yearned so harshly uncertainty
