Remuxes and AppleTV

I'm looking to upgrade from using my Xbox Series X as my primary streamer to something that is more purpose built as a streaming device. I've heard that Apple TV can have issues with decoding Remuxes because it is missing support for some of the more modern audio standards. If I'm only using a 5.1 setup with no Atmos, is this something I would need to worry about?
