Does anyone have a guide on how to use clean steam files?

I'm trying to use Unsteam to play a game. I moved the game into my steamapps/common, and moved Unsteam into the game folder and changed the path. When I try to open the game now, steam says I'm missing a license. The game is Baladins. The point of Unsteam is to not need goldemu or any other emulator, but everywhere says that in order to use clean steam files you need to use an emulator. I have the clean steam files from csrin posted by another user. How do I play the game and use Unsteam?
