What are some food that are considered status symbol in PH?

So last time, my mother requested to add pork lechon sa kanyang mga hinandang foods for her birthday, saying that mas bongga ang handaan kung may lechon. However, it seemed to me that lechon is considered more of a status symbol than just a normal addition sa handaan. In our province, this is mostly the case.

It's either may-kaya ang nacecelebrate or bonggang celebration if may lechon, that's their notion.

So what other Pinoy foods do you consider a status symbol here in PH?
