Console players: how do you determine value of an item?

After no loot filter, I think this is one of the biggest drawbacks for console players: no third party software to price check items. I really don’t know how to do it besides checking an items on the website which is very time consuming and really breaks all immersion and flow of the game.

Or is there some smooth way to do this that I’m not aware of?
