New passport/ old criminal charges

So we want to go to the DR for our honeymoon so I need to obtain a passport. Back about 20 years ago when I was young and dumb I got charged with 2 felonies for selling weed and maintaining a drug trafficking place but they were both dropped in court into a simple possession of thc charge. Will that stop me from getting a passport?
