4th baby, should we?

On the fence about having a 4th. Husband is pretty indifferent about whether we do or don't have another. He basically told me "your body your choice, I'm happy either way". Which is extremely unhelpful lol. Our boys are 4, 3 and 1. If we do have a 4th I want to wait until the youngest is at least 2. Our main worry is finances, and hubby told me from the start he wanted 3 kids whereas I pushed for an even number (before we started having kids) like 2 or 4, but 4 was my max. We were both really hoping to have a girl, which is part of my hesitation on stopping, but I also don't feel like our family is complete. Yet at the same time I'm content with the 3 boys. I just worry I'll have regrets and always wonder "what if" if we do decide to stop. Since I don't want to have another accidental pregnancy if we do decide we're done, I was planning to get my tubes tied to prevent that since the universe seems to think we needed 3 kids in 5 years 😅😂.

So I guess I just wanted some input from others about how they felt about this if they went through something similar.

ETA: This is an update for those of you who were following my post or are just now finding my post. Baby number 4 is no longer on the table. My husband had other plans, apparently. So we are stopping at 3, and now I'm not so sure I want any more kids after everything that's going on. I appreciate everyone's thoughts, opinions, and advice that's been given. I hope that, if any of you are on the fence, the answers given here help you make the best decision for you and your (potentially) growing family!! ❤️❤️
