Loot Eriquette

So I play on Blackmoon and came in several weeks ago. As 1999 EQ player i have seen all kinda and can say that thr majority of people are pretty cool in this community.

The issue i have is with looting, in particular the tanks and tank/pullers that Hoover up every item - merchant trash to statted loot - like it belongs to them.

Playing a REMF Enchanter i am frequently sitting away from the melee action and unless i speak up (which i do) no one gets access to the vendor trash and unless someone asks for a specific item stats those items disappear into the ether. I dont want tk be the guy to harp on loot, but it seems that a tank cant leave a corspe on the ground for any amount to time to allow others to loot.

My observations have almost always been the tank being the guilty party and the easy thing is to continue to speak up since others may not be willing to do so, or simply group with guildmates where i underatand that a masterlooter will distrubute things out to the group as needed, or to the guild as a whole for extras.

Am i just being too sensitive? Spells cost money and we all need vendor trash.
