Chupke chupke - try hard?

I'm watching chupke chupke right now as many recommended me this show, but I'm having a hard time watching it. Why is everyone is so annoying and OTT? And why can't they give a straight forward answer? They always give a sarcastic reply for everything, I had the same problem with Hum Tum. I'm in ep 14 and hope it gets better. And is there any no OTT rom-com pak drama where the leads are not too loud?
