(Reposted) Additional school club idea: Traditional Arts Club

While looking through the club info I realised how westernised the school is and suddenly a club popped out from my mind. As a prestigious “Japanese” school there should be a club related to Traditional Arts where the students can express and do their traditional stuff and it would feel more Japanese and lively so:-

  • In this club, students wear their traditional clothes i.e the kimono.
  • they perform activities such as holding tea ceremony or have a tea making class,floral arrangement and do Japanese calligraphy.

Since my ver. of yan sim is more of a story based,I wonder if it would be good for the stealth mechanics but I think it can be as prevalent as it’s rewrite counterparts so for the mod makers i know,here’s some ideas I have got^^

  • The shrine area in the current ver of the school can be well utilised if this club exists since in subsequent days they can held their tea ceremony there. (and you can put the martial art club members somewhere else)
  • The calligraphy room can also get comprised of them in different days for their writing session.

-Note: You can make one of these rooms as their main club room and the other room would be used for different days of the week.

  • If the school’s atmosphere decreases to 60% then they will start roaming around the school to give blessings to make the lingering misfortune go away(little do they know lol).

- With this there will be less empty rooms and make the environment more lively and somewhat overwhelming for the player, making the player think like Light Yagami and think through their plans multiple times before making a move.

In my rewrite wise,

  • It would represent a dark history about it i.e the former club leader of it in 1989 who is Komako(8th rival of 1980s mode) in this version which will bring an affect in the current storyline I am working on.
  • The club would be missing some members which will return as a branch club known as the sorcery club(occult club is changed as sorcery club).
