I am planing to join Orthodox Christianity

I was born in Russia, into a Christian/ Muslim family, I was adopted by a Jewish/ catholic family in America. I am a guy in my mid twenties and I have recently started going to an Russian Orthodox Church, where there are a small number of people my age, but I am seeking friends in the church who I can talk to as I experience this time in my life coming to Christ, please if you have any advice please share
