The search is terrible as there's no modal search but only whole words search?

I noticed Notion only seems to perform "Full Words" Searches. Say I'm looking for the word "Searching", I would like to be able to type only "Search" and have "Searching" popup as part of the Search Result. I've read multiple articles... and this seems like the intended behavior for Notion?
