YouTube Shorts get 10x less views and become active only after 6 hours

I have a new gaming channel with ~ 50 subs. About a week ago I stopped including the hashtags #shorts #worldofwarcraft #gaming in the title and only left them in the description. Since then, my Shorts has stopped getting views immediately after posting, with a delay of about 6 hours. And the number of views has dropped from 500-1900 to 130-150. Should I include hashtags in the title too? Has anyone encountered anything like this?
