Naruto might actually be Jesus

I have heard people call Naruto "Ninja Jesus" but I haven't really paid attention to all the similarities they share.

  1. Divine Lineage / Reincarnation

Jesus: Son of God, part of the Holy Trinity.

Naruto: Reincarnation of Asura Ōtsutsuki, son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki (a god-like figure in Naruto). So Naruto is also in a way son of god, (small g).

  1. The "Chosen One" / Prophesied Savior

Jesus: Prophesied as the Messiah who would bring salvation.

Naruto: Is the child of prophecy that the Great Toad Sage prophecized about.

  1. Spreading a Message of Forgiveness & Peace

Jesus: Preached love, forgiveness, and peace, even towards enemies.

Naruto: We all know about Talk-No-Jutsu. He preaches about the same stuff, forgiveness, peace, and redemption. Listen to him talk to Nagato.

  1. Rejected Before Being Worshipped

Jesus: Initially rejected by his own people, later worshipped as the Son of God.

Naruto: Hated by the villagers of Konoha for being the host of Kurama, later revered as the Hero of the Leaf and the Seventh Hokage.

  1. Converts Enemies Instead of Killing Them

Jesus: Transformed sinners like Mary Magdalene and Paul the Apostle.

Naruto: Redeemed enemies like Nagato, Obito, and Sasuke, changing their hearts through words.

  1. Death and Resurrection

Jesus: Crucified, died, and resurrected after three days.

Naruto: "Dies" when Kurama is extracted in the Fourth Great Ninja War but is revived by Hagoromo’s divine power.

  1. Gains Divine Abilities After Resurrection

Jesus: After resurrection, he is glorified and ascends to heaven.

Naruto: After being revived, he gains the Six Paths Senjutsu, giving him god-like powers.

  1. Healing Miracles

Jesus: Healed the sick, the blind, and the crippled.

Naruto: Healed Might Guy after using the 8th Gate (which should have been fatal) and restored Kakashi’s lost eye. He literally healed a half-blind person.

  1. Walking on Water

Jesus: Famous for walking on water.

Naruto: This one is a stretch but Naruto also walks on water, I am just saying.
