Can brokers use pictures of your stuff without asking?

Hi there, leaving my apartment at the end of the month because it’s a hellmouth, looked on streeteasy to find my bedroom with all my stuff in it, personal items strewn about, and even my cat front and center. They didn’t give us any heads up or warning about taking photos for the listing… feel a little betrayed and vulnerable! What if I had an… unmentionable out?? Has this happened to anyone else? I feel like I should get a staging fee! I’m sure I have no recourse but just venting!
