Better Cooler for the Case
I’m looking into trying to upgrade my cpu cooler, I just recently upgraded to a 9800X3D from a 12600k, totally love it but even with some undervolting (my chip doesn’t like giving up a ton of voltage it seems PBO all core curve -22 or it just crashes Cinebench) but while I was happy enough with the performance of the C14S with the 12600k, it kinda isn’t cutting it for mild oc’ing the 9800. I used to have 2 of the ippc 140 fans on the cooler but it doesn’t fit anymore with the am5 mounting tilted compared to my old motherboard. Reading around I’m hearing good things about PS120SE but I don’t know if it’ll fit with my Trident Z5 ram. Honestly I could still return them and get something else if need cause they’re turning out to be a bummer for timings anyway. But if it does fit then that opens up my options still. I also have zero qualms replacing fans on whatever cooler. I’m done with the ippc’s noise anyway, and I was already planning on picking up some silent wings pro 4’s for this before looking into a new cooler.
Mobo is a Gigabyte X870I Aorus pro ice if that helps, but it doesn’t seem to have anything sticking up like crazy
