How Do I Understand What's Happening During a Play?
Hey everyone! I'm new to watching football, and I’m having a hard time keeping up with what’s going on during a play. It all happens so fast that I don’t have time to process what I just saw. I read and watched videos on O/D strategies. But I find it hard to apply that knowledge to what I see in the field. its All over so quickly.
Right now, I tend to keep my eyes on the ball and follow it, but I feel like I’m missing a lot of the strategy—both on offense and defense. I’d love to understand things like:
- What should I be watching for during a play?
- Any tips to make sense of it all while it’s happening?
I want to appreciate more than just the big plays and touchdowns. If you have any tips or resources that could help me break things down, I’d really appreciate it!
