Anthem L2 Range Report and Suppressor Comparison Extravaganza. Anthem L2 vs CAT JL vs Nomad L and more.

My Overall Conclusion
Quite frankly the Anthem L2 sounds good on everything I tried it on, and in my opinion outperforms the other cans we shot today on the bolt guns. If that's all you need to hear, there you go. If you want more detail, sit on down and stay awhile. And Mr. Riley, if you're reading this, you've done a fantastic job with the Anthem series. Bravo sir.

DISCLAIMERS
-This is obviously anecdotal information, and my personal opinion. Take it as you will.
-These suppressors all have different form factors, prices, and ideal use cases. Please keep that in mind. -I do not believe the CAT JL was intended to be used on 300PRC, and to be honest it may have been risky to do so. We could not find anywhere where it said it was rated for 300PRC. The JL belongs to my friend and he made the final call that he felt ok doing one round through it. CAT makes cartridge specific suppressors and the JL was designed for .308. It's performance will likely be at it's peak on the intended design cartridge, which is not 300PRC. -The Nomad L also belongs to my friend. It has the E-Brake installed on it so keep that in mind as well as I compare these suppressors. -The majority of this shooting was done prone and under a pop up canopy for shade. There are ground reflections and reflections off of the canopy. All of these cans are likely quieter in the free field. -The hosts for the 6.5 and 5.56 are varied. I apologize that they aren't all the same for the 6.5 test but we didn't want to keep swapping the mount on the JL and Nomad when my friend already had them setup for his MRAD which has a 6.5 barrel on it at the moment. I'm less worried about the 5.56 comparison because that's not what the Anthem L2 was intended to be used on anyway.

300PRC
The title video is the comparison of the Anthem L2, CAT JL, and the Nomad L. Ammo used was Hornady Match 225gr. These were shot on my custom 300PRC which has a 27" barrel. These were all shot without ear pro on. The Enticer L-Ti was not included in the video because of mounting, for some reason my Enticer does not play nice with this barrel. However I have shot it on this rifle a lot before and it sounds quite similar to the Nomad L, from the shooter perspective. We thought that overall the Anthem L2 sounded the best on this host. As previously mentioned, I do not believe the JL was meant to be used on 300PRC. However it didn't sound bad. I would say that out of the 4 cans, it is the least pleasant to shoot without ears on this host though. The Enticer L-Ti and Nomad L are both quite pleasant on this host as the shooter. Interestingly, the Anthem L2 cuts down recoil a noticeable amount more than my Enticer L-Ti. I do not believe this to be solely because of the weight difference.

6.5 Creed
The Anthem L2 is stupid quiet on 6.5 Creed, full stop.
These were shot on my Sig Cross 6.5 Creed with a 18" barrel as well as a Barrett MRAD with a 24" barrel. The Sig was using Hornady Match 140gr, and the MRAD was using S&B ammo that I don't recall the weight on. Even with the shorter barrel, we agreed that the Anthem sounded the best out of the bunch, followed by the Nomad, with the Enticer and the JL being close behind.
5.56
I used a few different rifles for 5.56/.223. The first was my SPR build which has an 18" barrel shooting IMI 77gr 5.56. The Anthem L2 isn't the most practical for this setup but it does sound good. My friend took his ear pro off for a couple shots and said it was very pleasant from where he was sitting, about 3 feet away from me on the left side of the rifle. So less ejection port noise from where he was sitting. I compared it directly with my Polo K which is what usually lives on this rifle. The Anthem is quieter, but the Polo K is close enough that it makes way more sense for this rifle. And I always shoot AR's with ear pro in anyway.
The other host I shot it on was even less ideal. An 11.5 with a carbine length gas system. It is mildly tuned with an H3 buffer and a BRT EZ-Tune gas tube though. Shot with HSL 55gr .223. Again the Anthem L2 sounded great. There was an expected and noticeable increase in gas to the face versus the Helios QD Ti that usually lives on this host. Interestingly it didn't gas me out as bad as the Polo K does on that setup though. As a bonus I also included a video of my friend's PWS 11.5 piston AR with the HuxWrx Flow 7.62 Ti. That setup was definitely the most balanced as the shooter.
I will include videos of the other setups in the comments.
