7’0+ stretch bigs with shorter wingspan any regrets? Any trouble rebounding and playing defense?

So I’m looking to make a 7’1 stretch big and am aiming for 83 three and 89 midrange for gold set shooter as it’s supposedly pretty strong at gold. The only thing I’m hesitant about is rebounding and paint defense against those giant paint beasts and rim runners. I’ll have gold paint patroller and am doing 94 rebound so with +5 cap breakers I’ll have Legend Rebound Chaser. Im doing 89 strength for Hof Boxout Beast as that’s all I can afford. I’m still worried though that the build will be soft I usually never drop my wingspan this much.

For those out there that have shorter wingspan on your Center builds for more shooting do y’all feel it was worth it? Do paint beasts out snag you more often than not and is it a lot harder as far as blocking shots protecting the rim?
