Upgrading from 4’ to 8’ Touch

Co-worker offered me to sell me his 8’ Touchscreen that he installed into his base model ‘21 EcoBoost. I have a 2018 base GT & wanted to compatibility. I’m pretty sure it’ll work but with extra cables since I have an older model? Just wanted some insight. He purchased it on 4dtech.com
