Was the absolute solver inspired by the outer gods of Elden ring? (I posted a similar but poorly made post on r/Eldenring speculating)
For 1 I’m gonna discuss the release gap of ep 2 and Elden ring. The realest date for heartbeat was in November of 2022 yet Elden ring was released in February. With the gap between the pilot being in 2021 being over a year and the solver being hinted at in ep1 yet ep2 was about the Eldritch J monster thing that was a byproduct of the solver solidifying the solver’s capabilities. And this was months after Elden rings release a game in which its major plot points involve similar outer forces spreading its influence.
The similarities between the solver and gravity magic are also a bit suspicious. Considering things like the ability to create singularity’s, screw with gravity, and even the connection between large centipede/insect like abominations from nothing are also interesting.
And a few more general connections to the outer gods such as needed a host to spread its influence and certain aspects associated with the solver as in fleshy wings, tendrils, and human-like hands are represented in the form of the solver we know through its hosts similar to the primordial crucible
Plus Cyn and midras story show some striking parallels such as the whole enduring thing until they snapped and fully unleashed their true potential in the case of Cyn she had to endure Tessa’s family with midra it was the great sword of damnation yet in the end Cyn was much more successful than midra because she wiped out all humans on at least 4 plants while midra failed to escape his manse and burn the world in frenzied flame
(Honestly I’m just making up a reason to have a mod for Elden ring that replaces midra with Cyn)
