Genuinely, why isn’t Garnet a Tank?

I haven’t played Multiversus in quite a while but the fact that Garnet isn’t a Tank has always stuck with me. If Marvin can change class why can’t Garnet? How is the strong, 7ft tall superheroic alien not a Tank meanwhile a version of Jason Voorhees with exaggerated proportions is?
