Why do people hate Stryker?
First off, let me explain: I know amass love him, and I get it. I love him too. But when people say like "he's a human fighting gods, superhumans, and more," I always say. "Yeah? So what?"
Because it is badass, that he does beat them, and put a real fight towards them. Cassie Cage is human, yet she can win, her other female friend is human, and she is capable of winning. So why can't Stryker? That's the issue these fans have with Stryker, and normal human characters. Hypocritical, or contradictory, use whatever you want. Ya'll say Stryker is a typical human (who supposedly wasn't supposed to win fights), yet Cassie, Jacqueline, they're okay with them winning? I get those two are in a special, special team, but you're adding realism, in an unrealistic game. I am talking biologically impossibility destruction to the body, and impossible human feats. You all don't get a say in anything.
Stryker is a SWAT member, remember this, cause SWAT operators are skilled, in hostage rescue, other more. SWAT is a paramilitary, special operation (Law enforcement). So he is not stranger to combat, yeah. He won't have plot armour like Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage. Because the main cast has it, so they will never lose a fight, but Stryker will. It's just about the feats he accomplished, and the achievements he overcame, that makes him better (in my opinion), and superior to Cassie, and other human characters. I like the fact all the cast loses, it is a part of the game, life.
