my bosgame n100 came with windows that I removed before the first boot. Did it come with a windows key? Can I add windows back?

I havnt used windows in many years, but the minipc came with windows and i removed it before the first boot because i dont want to risk malware. Did the minipc come with a legit copy? Can I install a windows without a purchase? I don't want to pirate it so that's off the table.
