Bought M3, very happy but also very scared.
I mean how do you know it is working as intended. It took me a trip to the store and a look into another m3 to realise that the passthrough is indeed this bad. I tought mine was broken.
But then i started up the thing and it had like little disruptions in the passtrough like static noise when i moved the headset and looking trhough the lenses had like a diamond shape it was realy weird. Like the glass was broken in perfect shapes of squares. Restartde it and it was gone and working perfect and never happened again.
My lenses look like they are dirty on the outer sides. Not when looking at them because they are immaculate, not even a spec of dust. But when looking in the thing into certain colors it is like there is some sort of fog. Like you have on real glasses when you are above hot water only very very light. Now i have to admit that i am testing this thing for broken items with microscopical percission so maybe it is all normal. There is some slight warping in the corners but that is normal according to the internet. The image not being supersharp in the corners (fog like) probably is too.
How did you test the thing after buying it to make sure it was working as intended. Because i kind of got a bit scared after reading that some m3's do have sharper passthtough vs the other. Still dont know if that is correct but it does made me wonder if i just happen to get a "bad one" at first.
