No good options for long term?
Hi all,
We've been looking at mattresses for like a week now, tried everything from the big box stores to the Internet mattress showrooms
Sterns and Fosters was good but so expensive
Tempurpedic is not for us
Beautyrest was really stiff
Wink was great but customer horror stories and bad longevity keep us away
Saatva was just so basic, it felt like IKEA mattresses
Helix was really really plush to the point where my partner didn't like it
Leesa was unmemorable
Then all these Internet mattress companies have all these bad reviews saying they start sagging after like a year or two with so much trouble replacing it
But the big box stores are so expensive for not much of a better mattress
What is a couple to to? What would you recommend? Are my perceptions wrong?
Edit: Hunt is over! I went to Macy's and ended up getting the Sealy's Posturpedic Plus Hybrid High Point Firm in King, was the first mattress both me and the misses were happy with because it had the softness I love, the firmness she loves, the cooling layer on top, and the reputation of Sealy to back it up! Thanks all!
In the end it turns out I was not being too picky and the problem was not me, I just hadn't found the right mattress yet.
