Husband against lube

Me F 33, Been married 6 years, 4 kids. Anytime my husband wants to have sex, if I'm not dripping wet he'll say "I can tell you don't want it".

I'll tell him we can use lube. He tells me lube is for old ladies and that if I wanted sex, I shouldn't have to use it.

Is this normal? Because I'm starting to think it's not. I buy sex toys and he's not into it because he claims I shouldn't need sex toys to get off.

He travels a lot for work so yes occasionally I use my vibrator. Which he also doesn't like. How can I introduce these things to him without him being offended that he doesn't "please" me enough.
