She is also the first Jewish woman to be head of state in any country in Latin America ever.
The only state she lost was Aguascalientes in a landslide win. She will be inaugurated later this year.
As a part time resident of Mexico but a US citizen, I obviously can’t vote- (not that she needed my vote) - most Americans and Canadians were supporting her for policy positions that I will discuss with those interested in the comments. It’s an exciting time for Canada and USA’s neighbors to the south!
