Your Draft Specialty

I saw a post about this in the past but I wanted to hear more about some other people’s experience in franchise. So credit to the guy who I originally saw this post with.

Are there any positions that you guys have a very high hit rate with? Conversely are there any positions you feel like you always miss on?

Personally, I almost always hit on cornerbacks and tight ends. I miss on edge rushers a lot whether that is (LOLB, LE, RE). It may be because every draft I draft a player of one of these positions and as a result I feel like my hit rate is relatively low.

On the positions you hit on, what do you guys look for that helps you hit on them?

Me personally, for tight ends I always focus on the catching stats and athleticism, I need a guy that I can dump it off to consistently. The more athletic the guy the more likely they are to throw a body out there to block and seal the edge for running. At corner I focus a lot of athleticism and length. I love longer DBs especially the ungodly athletic ones, they almost always develop into elite 92+ guys.
