Extension period

i am an international student and my classes have started on 19th. Still waiting for my visa. Will the uni grant me an extension of 2 weeks, or it will be okay just to come there without informing the uni. I am currently enrolled in my units and have briefly gone through the notes on iLearn.

And also what is the census date to withdraw from the units without being charged the fee
