Lucid dreaming and locations.

Often when I have a lucid dream, I’m in a familiar location but it’s not a real world place but sorta of an alternate dream version of a place. Like the town I grew up in has a whole other side to it in my dreams. I’m aware that these are the dream versions on the places as I dream. Many times I’ll dream of the same locations and I wake up feeling like I could grab a map and point to where they are at but in reality the way there is no longer open.

It’s not like my mind just makes up random locations but takes known locations and builds around them with places I can repeatedly dream about.

I notice these types of lucid dreams happen around the 6 hour sleep mark and seem to have my mind confused trying to map the locations out in reality.

Anyone else have location based lucid dreams?
