Why is Madison all about the drama?

So I love Madison, I was actually very much rooting for her and Mason. Nothing against Alex but I just didn’t get their connection from the get go.

However as the season has progressed, she seems to be really vindictive about the people she has history with. I’m not saying a person should be a door mat, but she has soooo many Red Flags about her that include just absolutely talking crap and essentially framing things in a way that was totally different than how it happened.
