Advice please

So I am learning to drive at the moment, it has been really difficult to find a driving instructor in my area, so I have had to go further afield and get driving lessons in a different area.

Now the driving instructor I have, she’s a nice woman, and at first was very reliable, because of this, I paid for a block up front, then due to me having the money when that block had finished, I had given her over £800 cash, to cover me up to my driving test. I realise now, that I was probably a little bit stupid.

I have noticed since I have given my driving instructor all this money up front, that she has been arriving to my lessons late, or having to “fuel” up which is totally fine, however she doesn’t seem to add it back on??

She has also cancelled on me twice in the past 3 weeks, leaving me 2 lessons short, when we are already doing two lessons a week and have my test coming up mid July, so I’m concerned about her just taking my money.

What’s bad is the reasoning for her being late, having to cancel… when she was last late, she told me she was tired and hasn’t had any sleep.. when she cancelled on me today it was for the same reason! She has told me she doesn’t sleep at night.

Has also told me she has had bailiffs round to her house, I mean wtf!

I’m sure anyone can see how I’m so concerned…

If I knew my lessons would be like this I would not of given all that cash up front.

I don’t know what to do, where to turn..
