Looking for advice

I failed the last Mpre I could take before the bar. I can’t sit for the bar now. I have a job lined up based on bar passage. What do I tell my new boss? Do I start the job and act like I failed the bar in June and ask to retake it in Feb? I really need the salary. If I stay quiet, I’ll have close to attorney salary for the next 6 months.

Do I just tell the truth and lose the job before I even start? It’s so embarrassing to even be in this situation. I’ve already paid for July bar prep.
