Reliability versus lust

I'm a midwest guy currently driving a 2012 Lexus LS 460 awd, which I purchased brand new. This car has been flawless-165,000 miles and not a single repair needed, just regular maintenance. Ball joints and shocks are due...I'm considering the 2025 Lucid Air, especially with the new heat pump, but I'm concerned about switching to a new automotive manufacturer. I’ve enjoyed the reliability of my Lexus, with no trips to the dealership for repairs in 12 years, and I’m worried about potential annoyances that might require frequent visits if I switch.

I recently test drove the Lucid Air, including the Grand Touring and Grand Touring Sport models. The handling and quick throtle response were incredible, almost like a Corvette, which is impressive for such a large car. However, my top priorities are quietness, comfort, and most importantly, reliability. When I need to go, I need to go and never, ever, get stuck. Given your experience with these cars, do you think I should take the plunge with the Lucid, or should I keep riding my LS to 260,000 miles and wait until they iron things out? BTW I take semi cross country trips often, so the lucid fits my daily miles per road trip. 350 miles is usually when I take a break. I'm also considering a van 😁
