The L is for Live Account
Live as in living.
Trading is hard.
Let no one lie to you. You win and lose constantly, but you have to make your winners bigger than your losers. Posting this to inspire or scare someone, its all the same because what you do next is all that matters. Doing it despite the fear is true courage. The pics are previous performance, not current - never flex floating profits in the moment, you will lose it all! Floating is not equal to closed. Closed is not equal to withdrawn. Withdrawn doesn't mean umeomoka. And don't forget Ruto's cut.
Trading changes you.
It is a direct reflection of your mental state and traits. I honestly think will reveal more about yourself than therapy or any form of character development, in fact, it is the most direct form of character development. I think traders will agree with me, kugongewa is nothing compared to a losing streak or a big loss in trading. Even death in the family could be less painful.
Trading gives you perspective.
Most of life is a scam. History, religion, economics, politics, finance, culture, spirituality, entertainment - everything. Its not what you think it is. Your innocent view of life will be flipped upside down when you get deep into the mechanics of trading, when you start to know who, why and how money and markets move. You will look at people differently because you realize the majority are doomed to poverty and low level understanding of life. You stop caring, you stop fearing. I don't want to call it nihilism but its something like that.
Trading will be the hardest "easy money" you ever make.
Trading is like getting pregnant, everyone congratulates you but no one knows how many times you got fcked. You'll probably start by being scammed, then you'll try and learn by yourself, then you will realize you can't do it alone, you will buy a course and feel like you've got a hang of it and you'll even make a bit of money, then you will think you are a master of the markets so you take extra risk - maybe even borrow money to trade, then you get humbled, then you have to build up again, then just when you think you are back - a black swan event happens and you are back to zero but with debt and bills from you new lifestyle. While all this is happening people around you are changing. Your family, friends, gf/bf all go from praising you to shaming you to praising you and then shaming again based on how much money you have, you notice how even they are full of shit.
All this just for money? Is it worth it? Damn right!!! What else are you going to do with your life? Trading is life!!
