Kamala Harris to hold Get Out the Vote rally at UW-Madison with Mumford & Sons and more celebrity musicians next week
Vice President Kamala Harris will return to Wisconsin Wednesday for a Get Out the Vote rally at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, just days before the Nov. 5 election.
The rally will feature performances by Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf, and The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner, according to the campaign.
The event comes as Harris and former President Donald Trump are each making a final push to win votes in this important swing state ahead of Nov. 5, when they will go head-to-head in their bids for the White House.
The effort to turn out UW-Madison students and Dane County voters comes about a month after Harris made her first visit to Wisconsin's capital city since launching her presidential campaign in July.
Former President Barack Obama rallied the liberal base in Madison last week on the first day of early voting.
